You may have been blogging for over a year. Maybe two or even three...yet you've not made a penny online... should you quit? You may - but quit these habits of yours first:

1. Improve Your Poor grammar: If you write like some primary 4 pupil, who do you expect should be reading your content? Grade kids? To attract readers who may make you famous and rich in the process, polish up your English. The standard should not be that of a Ph.D holder in English: simple error free English will suffice.

2. Stop being Ignorant About Your Subject Matter/Copy And Paste Syndrome: Everyone who visit a webpage does so for a reason...that reason may be to gain knowledge, make himself better etc. When however, a blogger is at best a novice at what he does, who would want to visit such a blog? Or who appreciates seeing content (exactly) that was read on a previous blog some seconds ago?

3. Stop Being Unnecessarily Proud: Everyone is entitled to some respect. This is what every blogger should understand and treat his visitors like the future loyalty they are. When you insult your readers, never respond to their comments or emails and hate visiting their blogs in return, why would you not quit?

4. Banish That Poor Blog Design Of Yours: We all love a blog that has a nice design, don't we? Even if what the blogger is saying makes no sense, we simply admire the aesthetics of the blog, drop a comment and may say nothing in that comment more than a nice appreciation of the design. What happens when a 'A+' blogger is sharing his thoughts on a platform that reminds us of the notebook of some kindergarten pupil? Go figure!

5. Guest Blog And Comment Like There Would Be No Tomorrow: Guest blogging and commenting on other people's blogs is a healthy practice that you cannot ignore as a blogger. Those bloggers you contribute posts to and the ones you comment frequently on their blog may see a need to pay back the kindness and who knows? Give you some fame (+ fortune).
