Sambo Inaugurates Bauchi State University by Nobody: 5:48am On Nov 04, 2013 |
Federal Government has conmended Bauchi State government for its achievements in the education sector. The vice-president gave the comendation, on Sunday, in Gadau, Bauchi State, while inaugurating the Bauchi State University. He commended Bauchi State for being the number one state in the utilisation of Millellium Development Goals (MDG) intervention funds. Sambo assured the state that it would henceforth be included in the provision of textbooks for public schools from which it had been excluded alongside Lagos State by the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC). While commending the Governor Isa Yuguda-led administration in Bauchi State for establishing the university and achieving the giant strides within two years of its establishment, the vice-president assured that the Federal Government would continue to partner with the state government in its developmental efforts in the education sector. Speaking earlier, Governor Yuguda informed that the establishment of the Bauchi State University, Gadau, was conceived by the immediate past administration in the state, which his administration implemented following the approval of the National Universities Commission (NUC). The university, which he said was being funded through the contribution of two per cent from state government’s monthly allocation and five per cent of each local government area’s allocation, according to Yuguda had three campuses situated in Gadau, Misau and Bauchi. The governor further informed that so far the government had expended the sum of N16.5billion for the provision of infrastructural facilities at the university, while the Federal Government through the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TetFund) had contributed about N542million to the university for the provision of two lecture halls and the moot court for its Faculty of Law. So far the crevice you call an abode filters off the radio wave from other electromagnetic waves and distancing you from information doesn't mean things aren't happening. http://saharareporters.com/news-page/security-operatives-ambush-boko-haram-bauchi-recover-11-ak47s-rockets-1000-rounds-ammuniti in your crudeness, absence of major actions in a film means the absence of the actors? |

Tolexander: if everyone has an atom of crudeness in a organelle, yours should be wholly and entirely anatomically. And you forget to read the article? They recover it at Gadan maiwa, some were closed to kano, and that was a highway, BATV news states "that they were travelling from Kano to Azare," which surely means had if been they escape to Azare, they'll then move to Yobe or Borno! Tolexander: if everyone has an atom of crudeness in a organelle, yours should be wholly and entirely anatomically.you are very arrogant . Arrogant people like you tend to have clicks because they think they are better than everyone . Arrogance is doubly a pity, because the talents of the arrogants serve primarily themselves. The arrogant assumes his views and opinions are the truth. In arrogance, natural confidence goes sadly awry rather than the self assurance born of knowing his limitations, the arrogance brooks no weakness in himself and may even secretly rejoice to find flaws in others. Actually this site is a very good place for a nice deserved verbal slap in the face for some. |

He commended Bauchi State for being the number one state in the utilisation of Millellium Development Goals (MDG) intervention funds. Good development and kudos to the PDP governor Isa Yiuguda. Thanks OP for sharing this news. Please continue to share more with pictures with us. We have always thought that only the noise-makers & propagandists in ACN/APC were the performers and nothing is happening by the governors and LGAs in the north. Great to note the QUIET collaboration and SUPPORT provided to all the 36 states by Jonathan's federal administration in the area of education. I only hope that Yuguda is also providing adequate primary, VOCATIONAL/TECHNICAL and secondary schools free for all residents of Bauchi STATE. 2 Likes |

I need to know something. Hem, @usbeel, is there any other university in Bauchi different from this? I really need to know how many universities were in the state before this, as good as it seems, we can't just continue building universities here and there. How much is the IGR of the state, can they really finance this university on the long run, coz I'm sure they would have college of educations/polytechnics in that state being financed by the state govt. |

Four College of Education, three state polytechnic, school of nursing, ATBU TH, one fed polytechnic, one state university, one fed university(ATBU), and a private university under-construction. Also Bauchi state govt. can finance the uni, since it has the money to build it, and the tot ov uni every were, Bauchi needs more universities as it is the 7th most populated state in Nigeria! And all the polytechnics are under renovation, both federal and state! 1 Like |
