A political party in Nigeria, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), has called for the arrest of Senator Chris Ngige, alleging that he masterminded the commotion that led to the death of over 25 persons and dozens injured at the Holy Ghost Adoration Ministry Crusade.

The stampede occurred in Uke, Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State on Saturday morning.

The National Chairman of the party, Victor Umeh, called on the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Abubakar, to arrest Senator Ngige. He demanded that Ngige should explain what his supporters were doing at the crusade ground with their party symbols of brooms and the governorship candidate’s posters.

He said that “it was a grand plot to cause confusion at the prayer ground.”

Gov Ada-obi peter should be held responsible.witout being sentimental,i dont see why ngige shud be cuffed.

Gov peter Ada-obi,said,he was invited to the prayer house house by the priest to adress the crowd? After that,he was making promises,when the shout of onwa rented the Air,and he was shut down by the noise.i think the priest shud be held accountable for the deaths,bcus in the first place,gov ada-obi peter wasnt suppose to go seek for support in the house of God.

@danot,i stand to be corrected.aldo Gov peter Ada-obi was turned down over his monetary bribe by the first priest.but it was the second priest that invited him to the crusade ground to speak and render his greek gift.like i said,the priest shud be held accountable.by the way,that willie guy seems to be courtin ill luck.cus i hav never read anytin positive from his camp.Rip to those fallen.

Arrest Ngigi for what?,What is Peter obi doing there?.The two should be arrest if there is any evidence dat they are the cause of it.
