For those who don't know

...a hospital is:
-a specific location that is staffed with appropriate medical equiptment
-staffed with appropriate medical human resources
-posess medical processes
-A semi-open system that allows the controlled exchange of medical and emotional resources (human and material) with other open systems
-its goal is to manage a condition or heal a condition. (in the the future, it might include administering death in a controlled clinical environment)
-and less importantly labelled as a hospital

.....your house can act as a hospital if it meets these condition (apart from regulatory requirements)
depending on your cash level and the type of ailment, you can set up a mini hospital at ur house
u dont need to export everyone to yaba left or India

Stop beating about the bush. Do you support that your sister, your wife, someone you know or Sullivan's wife to be lockup/confined in a house instead of taken to a decent health facility for treatment?
you are the one who should stop ranting about what you don't know. First, I don't patronize spousal abuse but I do know some patients of mental health who ain't in the acute phase of mental breakdown may be restricted in their private homes while being attended to by psychotherapist and psychiatrist. Mental ailment can relapse while a clean bill of health is not easily given by doctors. To put this matter to an end, let another independent investigator come but rubishing the report of the NHRC is not gonna help

We don't really know what medical challenges mrs chime is facing(but according to reports,it is psycologically related).'IF' it can be treated within the house fine and good..governor chime went outside to treat himself and the media(including nairalanders) rained curses on him and even rumored him dead(actually some openly wished him dead on this site). These rumors almost put the people of Enugwu in a state of confusion until Chime came back alive..I can bet if he publicly takes her outside, the same hypocritical human activists will be the first to say "he has flown her abroad with our money!" Or "I 'heard' she is on life support, let her die there afterall na she and her husband dey chop our money"..since the family of mrs chime is aware of their sister's health issues,I say let them take care of her the best way they see fit.

that sounds like patriarchal chauvinism
if chime did not give a damn about what the press had to say in the wake of his long sojourn in the UK - why would this situation be any different?
the woman has been under house arrest and out of the public eye all this time - who would miss her?

she wasn't even present in any of pictures of his return or when the governors visited him

then there is the talk of a 'neuropsychiatrist' - if that is involved, then she cannot get the care she needs locally.

unfortunately this is Nigeria where people can be bribed, and as previously stated, chime has a history of thuggish intimidation of the fourth estate, so anything he says is suspect. i would prefer to see the entire family of his wife, and not just her brothers. Mental illness is often hereditary, has anyone else in the family shown similar symptoms?

In all these, What is Sullivan Saying, he's carrying his face like one innocent person and pretending not to know what is happening. WOLVES IN SHEEP'S CLOTHING.

It's all cover up movie. Chime is desperately in search of cover up. Free this woman from bondage. Shame on the National Human Rights Commission. They only traveled to Enugu in search of human rice rather than human rights. So sad. Whatever they say, my reasonable conclusion is that Enugu Government House is not a psychiatric hospital and tha when the Governor was sick for months, nobody locked him up in the Enugu Lion Building for treatment. Instead, he spent tax payers money lying down in a London hospital for years.

Sahara Reporters again!!!!

So the woman had a nervous breakdown on self admission. The independent Human Rights Commission confirmed that she needs to be looked after in a secure facility. NL should shun this gweilo reporting from saboteurs.

The woman deh craze tru tru. She tot a governors wife is dat free to be flexin like other ladies her age... it serves her right...next time, marry your generation. ..maybe your tru husbad would be governor in future but you dumped him for already-made.

If the Governor has married a more mature lady, I am sure he would hv allowed her to socialise. But SC is jealous of small boys flexin his smallie wife.

Clara! Na your hustle be dat. Bear it!

Can the media please respect this woman and stop sensationalizing her predicament?

Barrister Femi Falana should handle this carefully.

This is a human being, she has children as well.

This is not the type of thing to be flexing muscles on.

This woman is sick, she needs medical help more than the legal drama.

Legality will make much meaning to this woman when she's fully well.
