WRONG=

=
Joseph_MNJ: Avnt heard abt it anyway. Buh if u're looking 4 a cream/gel to clear ur pimples. I'd recommend Funbact A or Skineal, dat's if u're fair in complexion O. If u're not fair n u try it, u risk looking lyk michael jackson.
My 2 cents.

===========================
CORRECT=
Put in your two cents worth;
Put in your two pennyworth;
Put in your two penn'orth.

This is an idiom that means 'to give your opinion of something even if others do not want to hear it'

Sure, I will as I often need correct usage of certain words so as not to betray the context within the frame of sentences.

WRONG
At the bolded

Wumine:
But u neva answer the question! The bolded part

==
==
People usually use this to refer to highlighted words.

============================
CORRECT
The word bold is an adjective and also a noun. So the use of bolded is unacceptable.

The word EMBOLDEN in its secondary meaning can be used instead.
==
Thus you can say:
Embolden your words.
but never
Bold your words.
You can equally say:
Look at the emboldened words
but never
Look at the bolded words
=
However; you can say:
the words in bold.

WRONG TO SAY 'WRITE EXAM'

It's wrong to say that you "write" exam.

You :
1. Do exam.
2. Take exam.
3. Sit exam.

So its aberrant to say ' I am writing my an exam tomorrow'

Same applies to ' Did you write exam today?
Thank you.
Re: Some Grammatical Peccadilloes On This Site by SpeedyConnect(m): 3:25pm On Aug 12, 2015
But for the alacrity with which this clanger is commited particularly now that projects are being submitted by final year students, I would have refrained from commenting on this.
Again, this comes at the risk of being thought cocky.
The word BIND takes BOUND in its past and participle forms.
This makes sentences below aberrant.
- I have binded my project *
-I have bounded project.*
- I binded it yeaterday*
SO WE SAY:
I have bound my project.
I bound it yesterday.
Thanks.
