@Godvilla. i know about that. all am saying is, all we know about this mtk chip is that it is true octacore and it beat s600(running on FHD) in AnTuTu. or if you know what the architecture is, kindly share. and THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH big NAMES. the name Mediatek is a big enough name to me.

Currently checking out the specs of the E7 mini..impressive I must say but i read that it doesn't have a memory card slot..just 16gig inernal memory but d specs still makes it very appealing tho',it's rumoured that it's gonna be priced aroun 1,800 chinese yuan..i'm not overly concerned with the main E7 but that phone is just awesome too..

The launch has just taken place and we have details of the
Gionee Elife E7 price, specs and release for India.
Following the success of the Gionee Elife E6 in India, the
Elife E7 Android flagship has now been unveiled. The Elife
E6 release for India will take place in January next year,
and the phablet has plenty of specs and features that
should make it attractive to potential buyers.
There will be two variants of the phone, a 3G model and
also a 4G-enabled model (Elife E7L). The former is
powered by a 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-
core processor, while the latter packs a 2.5GHz
Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor.
It’s offered with 16 or 32GB of internal storage with the
16GB option having 2GB of RAM or the 32GB version having
3GB of RAM. Other specs include a 5.5-inch 1080p display
with 400 ppi, protected with Gorilla Glass 3 and featuring a
2.3mm bezel.
Further specs include Adreno 330 graphics, a whopping 16-
megapixel rear camera along with an 8-megapixel front-
facing camera and a 2500 mAh battery. The Elife E7 runs
the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system skinned
with the Amigo 2.0 user interface.
The Gionee Elife E7 price is 2,699 Yuan for the 16GB model,
which equates to around Rs. 27,600. The 32GB model is
priced at 3,199 Yuan, around Rs. 32,800. Although the
phone will release in India in January, it will be available
from next month in some other regions.
This phone is likely to generate plenty of interest and we’ll
be keeping readers informed about its official release in

Nope but brainrex and jreyez both bought the phone and gave a very poor review on the performance. Since dis 2 peeps are gurus, I cudnt help but wonder what gionee did wrong with the e6.

almost 90k na hin you dey call “very cheap” ? LOL.... I like Gionee...I actually use a Gionee device at the moment... but once any of their devices costs more than 50k I'd rather go for Samsung..... for between 45 and 60k one can get a used S3 and Note 2....personally I'd take a Note 2 any day than spend over 50k on Tecno or Gionee or any other Chinese brands...even if they have Snapdragon or even End time Processor....!!
