NEWISSUES is getting report that people are already celebrating in Onitsha that APGA has won the election as Chris Ngige, the gubernatoial candidate of the APC, is calling for the cancellation of the election. The Leadership newspaper reported:



“Though the result of the Anambra State gubernatorial election is still being awaited, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Chris Ngige has called for cancellation of the election.



Speaking to LEADERSHIP, the Director of Media and Communication of Ngige Campaign Organisation, Chief Charles Amilo accused the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of conspiring with the ruling party in the state, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) to rig the election in favour of the latter.



He alleged that the commission deliberately distributed voters materials late to areas considered as APC’s strong-hold just to short-change the party’s candidate.”



Election observers say the way the policemen were treated is unacceptable. “Most of the policemen were not given any money and some slept outside,” says an election observer. They commended the police for acting professionally.



On the restriction of Nasir El-Rufai to his hotel room, Governor Peter Obi said they are restrictions for movement for everybody. He said Nasir El-Rufai is looking for trouble where there is no trouble. He added that election in Anambra is for Anambra people, not for someone like Nasir El-Rufai. He said El-Rufai has never visited Anambra on any good day. He added that he cannot go to Katsina to observe election. “Anambra election is for Anambrarians,” Gov. Obi said.



APC are complaining that election were delayed in some areas, while in some areas, many people were disenfranchised, especially where APC have supporters.

YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED BEFORE....Ngige is a crook with a good heart...he can't be controlled..PDP tried but failed woefully and you think APC stalwarts will have a chance ..wait till he get there. I wonder how much you think he spends for the campaign...he didn't waste money trying to canvass for vote...just talks....and a little gift here and there.
