The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of Nigeria could not declare a winner in the Staurday elections in Anambra State even as it released results showing the candidate of APGA , Willie Obiano was leading.


INEC returning officer told reporters that the commission will hold supplementary elections in area where elections were canceled as a result of logostic problem.
The election was therefore declared inconclusive.

Don't go and prepare for the supplementary election later you will come online complaining your candidate lost.

It is a shame!! INEC is just creating a breeding Ground for a plethora of Court cases to Follow.Justice they say should not only be done, but should be seen to have been done. The conduct of this election as well as that held of recent in edo state leaves much to be desired!

The funny thing is that APC that is shouting the most is coming a distant third!!!

ngige is out of it.the issue now is that of simple majority btw apga who are leading and pdp that is second.apga has 174710 while pdp is 94956.the issue is the number of cancelled votes is more than the difference btw first and second.meanwhile apga won sixteen lgas while pdp won two...let us see the magic pdp will do.

The numbers will be reduced drastically because most of the centers are cancelled and I believe more areas will be canceled especially in idemili, that's if the entire election is not canceled. fyi all parties will participate in the rescheduled election

Can't say much to you,but APC was declared winner in EDO and it was free and fair abi! And they lost in Ondo it became a rigged election and now they have lost Anambra it was also rigged? Losers rant!!!

I feel your pain! But let's look at this Anambra election with sincere mind ! The issue of missing names on the register was discussed yesterday by Jega where he explained what happend, which am also a victim! Most of us did not complete the voters registration and our names can not be on the register. Also some people did double registration and INEC automatically cancels it.
Now. These contestants refused to educate there supporters to go and check there names when INEC published the register few months before the election , knowing fully well that people do not have time for such verifications! So who is to blame ? Personally I would have gone to verify mine but I was not in Anambrza then! On the issue of the EO of idemmili north, he should be able to state what happend and who induced him cos a lot candidates have interest in that LGa especially Obosi considering that Pdp wants to win there.
