The Rivers state Government has declared public holidays in the State due to port-harcourt city centenary celebrations. The public holidays which was initially slated for 15th and 18th of November,2013 have been extended till 22nd November 2013. The public holidays is mostly for state civil servants as am quite sure banks and private firms/organisation are working. Source: Resident of PH city. |
