I just observe within me that my gmail account has been my first choice in my list of mailing address courtesy of android devices.
Can we savely say that gmail will be the market leader hopefully, in a decade time.

For social sites and other internet stuff/connection , I use gmail but for my business transactions, I can only trust yahoo for security .
I dont like google's Terms of services (too invasive )

i personally also using gmail for important stuff. And others for social medias

I doubt if there is anyone active on the web who doesn't have a gmail account.
You need gmail for your Android device, Youtube, Google docs e.t.c

I only use Yahoo for social networking and petty things.
