The Federal Government and organised labour, on the eve of the handing over of PHCN facilitates to its new owner reached agreement on pension issue, including non-payment of severance benefits to the workers.

About three weeks after no fewer than 7,000 workers are yet to get their severance benefit.

Before the handover of physical assets of defunct PHCN, Chairman, Presidential Committee on Power, Mr. Beks Dagogo-Jack had said that "the physical handover of the assets will take place after the last person has been paid."
