I was playing around online and ran across female circumcision so I started reading. I was absolutely horrified that some cultures find it acceptable to cut off their little girl's clitorises. It honestly turned my stomach. However, I started thinking it is not much different than western cultures cutting off their boys' foreskin. I personally do not feel circumcision is necessary but understand it is a choice each individual family needs to make for themselves. I am wondering how you feel about this. Do you think there is a difference? If you circumcised your boy how would you feel about circumcising a girl?
