ABUJA- Following yesterday’s defection of the G-5 governors and the Abubakar Kawu Baraje led nPDP to the All Progressive Congress, APC, Vanguard learnt the APC is planning to present Governors Rabiu Kwankwaso of Kano State and Babatunde Fashola of Lagos State as its candidates for the 2015 Presidential election.
Vanguard gathered that the party wants to take advantage of Fashola’s performance in Lagos State and Kwankwaso, who is from Kano.
Not minding that they are both Muslims, the source said that it happened in 1993 when it was Moshood Abiola and Babagana Kingibe who are both Muslims and they ran for election and won, but was annulled. It was also gathered that APC may also beg governor Adams Oshiomhole because of his achievements in the state, his influence, popularity and acceptability by Nigerians to run for the presidency in  the 2015 Presidential election.

I'm not a political analyst but one thing these pple fail to understand is that the norths r not made up of muslims only.
Adamawa is predominantly christians.

If u r brought up in d north u will find out that some of them r being marginalised heavily by the core hausa-fulani-kanuri.

On d other hand yorubas r not predominantly muslims. Pairing kwankwaso and fashola should be one of the greatest mistake of APC.
For now, I'm yet to c an outstanding figure to represent APC nationwide cos majority of their pple r into state politics.

As it seems religious interest is the key player here, the present day nigerian populace won't accept muslim muslim combo bearing in mind BH and all d atrocities caused by religious fanatics in d north.
Even the northerners r tired.
Unless its not going to be free and fair, I bet most muslims won't vote for their fellow muslims. BH has opened their eyes very well.
As for Amaechi, Rivers pple r solidly behind the presido so I really don't know what his problem is. I can't imagine SS voting for him as VP when they hv a better offer(president).

The problem fashola hv even with his pple is tinubu.

Tambuwal would have been a good choice but I think he is quite inexperience and it will be a lawyer lawyer pair.
