Why did you not just tell them the truth and request to have the interview rescheduled? Simple things like a family committment which had come up at such short notice and requiring urgent attention would have sufficed.

I see no point in asking anyone to post anything here except of course you intend to present it as your medical report, which I trust you will nowt as you are honest and God fearing. I doubt if any doctor in a federal government hospital will want to provide you with such either as the company could chose to verify it and then you can imagine what that will lead to.
