I dont know where you got your info frm but I blvd if u diggd a little deeper u will have discovered that the project failed virtually everywhere. Negroponte was being too ambitious and naive in thnkn that handing over latpops to chldren will bring abt it revolution. Addntlly d laptops were custm made thus parts were too xpnsv. The project was doomd to fail from d onset.

Even if you wrote these point in small characters you could had still made your point, even with a galaxy screen it was still obvious there was difficulty.....Your audience don't need magnifiers to view your point!!
Donalð Genes: Too many old people ruling us in this country might be the problem, I think it's high time we send them to sleep, It's either Tukur, Tinubu, Oshiomole, Buhari, Obj, Babangida, Atiku, Amaechi, and so on,but people like Gen Adulsalam Abubakar hardly get on the wrong side of the news, I like that man,he seems disincline to all this Nigerian politics

Sometimes its not all about the government, if im not mistaken isnt this laptop project the microsoft project. From business aspect or view i think the microsoft project failed bcus nigerian government found it too expensive. Would have been much deasible if this laptop were nigerian mad only then will be beneficial.

at the back of all this , we forget that there is a conspiracy at top levels of Government to kill education, why do you think we have stark, unqualified, uncertified officials running this country.. many cannot recite the National Anthem from Memory, something a primary school student will do without breaking a sweat.. we have illiterates for leaders and we wonder why the country is not moving forward, even God will thrash all our prayers. .it is simply idiotic to ask him to save Nigeria..
