This hospital was suitated at 138 faulks road back then and was relocated to okigwe road around 2000 or thereabout.
Though we heard stories abt what d hospital does but who can talk.
It is own by Doctor Ezuma, a staunch catolic, a knight at st joseph's catolic church Aba.
I came in to Aba ystday and was passing across the hospital, it was sealed and security men(police) were there. Though i heard abt it sumtym ago.
I claimed to nt to knw abt d hospital and started askn ppl around y d hospital is sealed.
The response was exactly wat i knw abt d hospital. " Center of Abortion and Baby Factory." hw i wish Aba(enyimba city) were as b4, the buildn must hav been burnt down b4 now. God hav mercy on us.

Now you want to criticize a hospital and you've posted a picture of how Aba really looks. When you want to criticize Orji, you'll look for a dirty flooded area and claim everywhere is like that.

Nigerians should face reality and stop witch-hunting medical practitioners and orphanages in the name of baby factory which does not exist. Most of the young girls telling stories of how they were deceived are liars.

It's no wonder baby factory business is becoming a big industry

The name Baby factories are new tactics for the Police to extort money from medical practitioners and failure of which will make your hospital or orphanage a baby factory.

Anyone who disagrees with me should tell me the difference between a maternity and "baby factory" because to the best of my knowledge, every maternity is a "baby factory".

Those interested ahould read this.

The stories of "Imo Baby Factory" are taking a different shape recently. It really looks like most of what we were made to believe were actually false. The woman, Madam One Thousand, the matron of the supposed "Baby Factory" has sued the Commissioner of police in Imo State for infringement of rights and 'lying' to the public through the press. According to her, the Ahamefule Motherless Babies' Home is duly recognized and registered with the State Government through the Ministry of Women Affairs which is the body in charge of orphanages. The Ministry is also aware that those pregnant ladies are being accommodated in the home. It should be noted that the Ministry of Women Affairs and the Govt does not have a separate facility for accommodating and caring for those girls some of who were victims of molestation, abuse or other circumstances and have no means to care for themselves and their unborn children, so they are kept in the 'Homes'. According to some of her documents, a number of those girls were brought to the home by the same police, having been recovered from illegal homes or picked up from the streets and all such stuff. Some others were brought in by their family members and others came of their own accord seeking help. The said 'Oyibo' who was accused by the police to have impregnated all the girls was interviewed by the press and he was crying bitterly, claiming that he is innocent and has simply been framed up by the police. He said he had demanded DNA tests be carried out to prove his innocence but nothing of such was done, and now he has been released and asked to go home just like that with nothing being done about his reputation that has been dragged in the mud.

All this appears to be a complete frame up by those who do not appreciate the work this poor widow, the matron, of the home is doing; saving the lives of destitute and helpless girls to the extent of living with them in her own house, feeding, clothing and caring for their medicals. It appears those that simply wanted to oppress and malign her used the police to achieve their intentions. Now, her only house has been demolished to foundation level including her son's table water factory and all that her family ever owned.

The question here is, was there a proper investigation by the authorities before these measures were taken? Was there enough justification to render this widow and her children homeless? How much truth was there in the publications of those press houses or are the press houses being used by some to achieve their selfish and wicked aims? What can be done to right the wrongs that have been done against this innocent woman i.e. if it can ever truly be righted? Will the truth that is silently unfolding be published in the papers again so the world can see the deliberate oppression and wickedness of the police and those that use them to achieve their desires? What about the press houses that mislead the masses and publish falsehood without investigation, what shall be done to them? The Govt of Imo State, the Inspector-General of Police and indeed the Federal Govt needs to pay close attention to what is happening and ensure that justice is done even if those involved are poor, innocent widows with no big shot in the govt to plead their cause.

And here was what the police reported using the press as a tool and gullible Nigerians accepted.

Imo State Police Command recorded another success in its renewed fight against crime and criminals, following the bursting of child trafficking and baby factory syndicate in the state.
Disclosing this to newsmen Thursday evening, at the State Police Headquarters, Owerri, the Commissioner of Police, Mr. Mohammed Katsina, said the Command has clamped down on illegal motherless babies homes, as well as rescued 17 pregnant teenagers.
According to the Imo police boss, one of the illegal homes, Ahamefula Motherless Babies Home, located in Umuaka, Njaba local council area, is allegedly owned by a middle aged woman simply identified as “Madam One Thousand”.
Mr. Katsina equally disclosed that during the police raid, no fewer than 11 minors, who were possibly waiting to be sold to prospective buyers, were rescued by the Command.
The bizarre aspect of the police finding was that a 23-year old boy, simply identified as Oyibo, was fingered as being responsible for impregnating the expectant girls, whose ages ranged between 14 and 17.
Apart from being in varying stages of pregnancy, the girls who equally looked malnourished and not properly catered for wept uncontrollably as they were paraded by the police in Owerri.
