skyluv2000: I think senator Ekweremmadu has a nice point there, its better,GEJ stay for one term and leave the office.for some of you slowpokes especially westerners here, didnt ur brother wanted third term, so what crime had GEJ committed in trying to utilize his franchisement to the fullest. ^ Did the monkey succeeded in the third term agenda? Why make reference to it when it was a failure |

With the type of responses I am reading here to such a beautiful opinion as espoused by Mr Ekweremadu, I am not surprised any more. This a strong medicine for a strong disease, but ppl are attacking the man and his message. Question is, what is ur own opinion? 1 Like |

Truth of the matter is that it is agood development only if they had started it in 2011 or better still wait till after 2019 whereby it will be now constitutionally right for the next president elect to go for a single tenure of 6years after which he/she can not be eligible for another. As at now, am not in support of it. |

insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different result.... After when GEJ was elected he brought dis same idea but nigerians rejected it now mr ike... so they want people to send 6yrs in office and leave...lol...office that even in 4yrs they are not accountable for their actions... Mr. Ike thanks for your idea, atleast it shows that you are not sleeping even though you are thinking upside down, but we will implement this idea if your so called president and governors could declare their assets... |

GEJ IS PLANNING FOR 2015 ELECTION WHILE THE ISSUE OF ASUU IS STILL THERE FOR HIM TO SOLVE... HIS TENURE WILL END IN 2015 N NO CHANCE TO CONTEST AGAIN BECAUSE HE HAD SPENT HIS FIRST TENURE AFTER YARADUA DEMISE... GEJ WANT TO CHANGE THE CONSTITUTION TO SUIT HIS WISH.... I AM VERY SURE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY WON'T ACCEPT THIS SUGGESTION AT ALL.... NAIRA: NEVER ALLOW IGBO (IJAW ) RULE AGAIN...... 2 Likes |

Yet Petroleum Industry Bill has not been talked about.. Now Nigerians would be busy debating this matter as if it matters.. Only 1 Nigerians out of 160 million People can ever be president. That bill affects only one.. The PIB that affects hundreds of Thousands of Nigerians has been in the house of over 8 - 10 years, been watered down so much now that it has lost over 70% of its original content and still they cant pass the bill. Meanwhile a bill like anti-gay rights which really does not affect the price of Garri or anyother thing was passed in under 2 weeks (from first hearing to public forum to passing the bill). |

If Nigeria had one-term tenure, all these distractions would not be seen as you will know u have just 6 years to deliver and get out without wasting time to plan for second term. However, GEJ should serve out his second term in 2019, then the next administration would start the 6years single term. |
