**To downgrade BBM8 back to 'BBM7'**

Step 1: Ensure you delete the currently running BBM8 and perform a hard reset to avoid crashing your device.

Many downloaded the BBM7 from that same download link, it shows that you must have done something wrong. I believe you didn't fully uninstall the previous BBM, I suggest that you properly delete BBM from "Options -> Device -> Application Management". Do a battery pull (hard reset) then check the Application Management to be see if the BBM is gone, then click the BBM7 download link.

If that fails too then u might have to choose either to use BBM6 or reload OS.
