Phoenix is a square peg in a square hole. He's the type that would go to the extreme to nail The Joker's mannerisms.


But I think we should avoid unnecessary comparisons with Heath, especially considering the fact that they're different settings.


Heath should be compared with the likes of Nicholson...

I didn't say Nicholson was better than Ledger. Just saying if any comparison should be made, it should be between Heath and Jack due to them been foes to Batman.


Phoenix's joker doesn't have Batman in the film.

Much Clearer now, but i will be judging based on how he plays the character itself as per what Heath or the Joker characters before and not necessarily as per foe to Batman. That's what critic will judge too.

That shit has been copied by and from numerous films, the first time I saw it I believe was from the Lincoln film, about vampires or something.
