I have a sneaky feeling that Wonder Woman 1984 would suck big time. Getting released so close to a Black Widow could potentially hurt it exponentially, since their respective target demographic are basically the same. MCU have proved time and time again that no one can beat them at the fanservice game, nobody.

Methinks WB would have been much better off putting a considerable mileage between MCU's premiere and theirs, or go the rated R route - you know... target an entirely different demographic and all that.

Nah, i don't think Wonder Woman 1984 would be hurt by any means by BLACK WIDOW, cos they've got a sizeable distance In release (May 1 vs June 5). One month cushion is more than enough. By that time sef black widow is already on a low ebb.

Wonder Woman is far bigger than Black widow sef, So I see no threat. What Black widow and In turn Wonder Woman 1984 should be worried of is Fast and Furious 9 [May 22(although won't pose much threat domestically)]. That franchise alone is eating up their box office gross.

Then WW 1984 would have to gear up for Top Gun: Maverick.

Black widow should also worry about No Time To Die (Daniel Craig's last appearance) releasing April 8 - about 3 weeks away. And also bother about Universal's Trolls World Tour (April 18). So it's gonna be tough for both of them.

It's wait and see for now.
