I didn't expect the sequel to be this good. Followed the same formula as the first one but still turned out great. Miss Crawley is funny as usual. Great songs all through, especially the "I still haven't found what I'm looking for". Scarlett Johansson can sing. If you enjoyed the first part, you will surely enjoy this too.

I thought it would be kinda wack and have a bunch of bad/excessive CGI. It's still what you expect from the genre, but more emotional and realistic.

I don’t understand the reason for the harsh criticism of this movie. Yes, it’s a slow burner but it get very good at the end. Sandra Bullock did really well in the movie with her role as Ruth. At first I hated Ruth, then when the truth was revealed, I felt pity for her. A really good movie which I think is worthy of an Oscar nomination.
The movie leaves one question unanswered though. Was Ruth being selfish with her quest to reconnect with her sister Those who have seen the movie should please respond with what they think.

She wasn't selfish.

No right thinking elderly sibling will abandon his/her younger ones, especially when you don't even know the younger one health and general wellbeing.

I really did put myself in her situation, and I must confess, I'll literally do same.

Hmmmm. I think she was being selfish sha. She tried to get back in her life without considering the effects it would have on her. She best she could have done was to know of her wellbeing.

Mother/Android has mediocre reviews, but I'll watch it in the next hour because of easy availability on Netflix and Chloe Moretz being a good actress. Netflix helps terrible movies because people get them delivered on a silver platter; no different from stupid posters here who usually go ignored in the real world.

I started it with a yawn feeling ill probably sleep off.

The first musical scene kept me awake till the very end.

The songs were lovely , the story ( usual) but well presented.

All in all a highly recommended movie.


( though the lack of facial expressions in most of the side/ background characters was creepy as F).
