This wasn't worth the drama it created!
Pros

Florence Pough must have had severe back pain from carrying this flick from start to finish. Absolutely stellar performance from her and it totally mirrors her performance in Midsommar and a fine trajectory for where her career is going.
The cinematography was stunning, you could easily frame every shot!.
Cons
Too predictable and underwhelming ending that provided more questions than answers.
Half baked characters occupying a half baked world!, As big a character as Chris Pine, his role felt like a cameo and i could actually count how many words he said or how many scenes he was in..
The writing was all over the place.
This movie was embarrassingly flat deviod of any juice to warrant a rewatch.

As for Harry Styles's and his foray into acting, it may be time to worry, Darling!

The movie is littered with some cringey moments especially the sappy dialogue from that annoying Amon character. The boy is virtually the worst written character of all.
Dr Fate and Hawkman were the best parts of this movie.

The writing literally let down this movie. It could have been better. It's kinda weird when the last 45 mins were the better part of the movie. The introduction of the movie and the first act was very poor and relied too much on action to paper the flaws. The movie's plot is weak and made even worse by the execution and dialogue.

It's an enjoyable entertainment movie which satisfies your action needs. It just leans too much on 80s & 90s superhero campy style of storytelling.

This is a new low for DC. It's been a while since DC dropped a film this weak. Jaume Collet Serra and his writing team needs to stay far away from DC.

I might have started it almost the same way.
Except this one felt rushed. The acting wack, the dialogue cringe, the writing watery, the pace was just at break neck speed.
It just felt as if they were giving a documentary commentary without actually acting or enacting the film itself.

It had only fantastic visuals and action going for it.
Tbh this film is way way low.

I no wan go into the tidbit details of the film if not e go be like say I hate am.
Eg That opening scene where they found the mineral, started fighting for it, only to leave it simply as that as motivational speaker tell them "let's not fight between ourselves" and they leave the thing at once. That scene smells premium bullshìt. I burst out with a guffaw in that scene.
