There are currently three Liberation Farms across Abia State: Okikpe in Ukwa West, Umuafai in Umuahia North and Ikwuano LGA...Additional liberation farms are being established to create more wealth and employment. In addition , Governor T. A Orji recently attracted a 100Million Dollar Cassava Processing Plant investment in Abiriba. This is the biggest investment in Cassava Produce in SE/SS region. (You have the right to investigate) And if you are interested in large scale farming in Abia State, get in touch with DR. Ken Nwosu, The Commissioner for Agriculture at the Ministry for assistance.
