42 kBps?? that 1 na standard naw, i get 60 on my american digits standard,

sebi u saw that speedtest on the penultimate page? eyecandy, am talking serious movement naw, 100 kBps, na my target now, when i get that on dialup, igboro ma daru mennn!!!!!!

with the lord and mtn, nothing is impossicant o!!!!!

. .talking yah Modem interface, that aint it, use a Download manager and post better, bt if u r ups for that competition, I get like 1.64MBps, with ma' MTN Modem .

thankgod, i can now access nairaland thru my mobile phone. haprof trust me starcomms is doing better than mtn for now.

Seriously, starcomms is cool. Mine says EVDO Rev. O which tops out @ 2.4 Mbps which will give you download rates of ~300KB/s. For the fact that i cross 200KB/s means its ok. Plus i also do other things in the meantime. One thing about starcomms is that is seems to have a lot of overhead bandwith enabling u to do several things at good rates but not one thing @ exceptional rates. I expect that by the time they upgrade to Rev.A (3.2 Mbps) we'll see speeds of ~300KB/s. Main advantage of Rev.A over Rev.O lies in the upload speeds not even downloads. I think they are trying.

Starcomms does bundled hours eg 250 hours valid for I think 3 months.If it is true they have improved I will give them a try next month N75000 for purple business

but ur laptop nid to hv an expresscard slot

u know glo will soon be the fastest once they start usig their glo1 line but 4 me sha i wonn't switch to them
till they give at least 10gb download limit; till then i'll stick with slow (relatively) but steady (not to mention
unlimited) starcomms

for real, internet connection sharing is da bomb, specially if ur wlan is good. cant wait for glo1 so i cud say GOODBYE to all them fourth generation networks.

y dnt u just get d evdo? so evn if deres no evdo signal it switches to 1x insted of restricting urself to a 1x modem
