for online movie buffs like me, mtn is a no go area. before you watch like 3 online movies, ur 3gig limit is gone. whateva u guyz feel for now starcomms is rockin.

Checked my total downloads on utorrent today since July and found out i had done 23.5GB!!This is excluding my IDM downloads.If u ask me, i think MTN ain't got nothing on Starcomms.

Well internet connectivity in Nigeria is not that bad, I think 1.4mbps is very ok,
Forget 4llerbe and his claims. Windows is just more prone to network errors, if you have the right tools, your connection will be fast and up to do like any other

Hunh? Wetin?. See am not trying 2 put down anything, but av bin a windows user 4 YEARS. Real power user n not mai mai user. Now av changed 2 linux n i can say categorically dt unless u really knw hw to open up d internals of a windows os e.g kernel etc n can tweak d thing to mars n back U WILL NOT GET PERFORMANCE LIKE DAT!

Moreova if u read my post i stressed d limitation of my hardware. Ok 4 d last shot i used a 115kbps modem on se k800i via bluetooth dongle thru a proxy chain on tor, Wat are u now saying? I didnt doctor dt shot. Wat will d speed hav bin on a 3mbps modem direct on paid package dts always waaay faster? Nuff said[color=][/color]

For the short answer, yes its super fast although it might be location dependent! Starcomms Izap has truly wowed me this past weeks. I work somewhere in Festac and last month we bought a starcomms Wifi adapter which comes bundled with an izap modem, plan being we wanted to share the connection. The package cost almost 50000naira and needless to say I wasn't thrilled. After installing the Wifi adapter and sharing the connection, I was amazed ; it was streaming video, downloading heavy files and loading pages in seconds, all this while being shared among 10 systems, I was a believer from that point on. Starcomms izap is the fastest mobile bropadband connection I've ever seen, period. For the record I'm not working with starcomms and I'm not affiliated with them in any way .

hw wont it be fast wen u've given dem #50k? just wait til deres heavy use on all 10 pcs or frm ur nxt suscription den u'll reconsider urstand wit starcoms
