@those who have been using Starcomms evdo: Is Starcomms evdo that fast nd reliable? A friend of mine is divided btw Starcomms and multilinks evdo. Just want to know if Starcomms is okay for fast browsing since it is more cost effective compared wit multilinks.

@dual nd lynx thanks. This is ironic. At both, if in position of a consultant, which of these will u advise taking these parameters into consideration( cost, effectiveness, or reliability, and speed) :Starcomms evdo, mtn, zain or etisalat. Thanks 4 your time!

am sure in d compressed file u dwnlded, u wud hv seen d .exe file and anoda idm file. . . . . after installing copy/cut d idm file(has an idm icon), locate where the file was installed eg c:/programs/internet dwnld manager/, paste and replace the file there then double clik on d reg. file dat came with compressed file
that should solve it
though since ur idm is alredy expired u may need to do a clean uninstal b4 doin the above process

Dem plenty. . . .Orbit, Free download Manager (FDM), Flashget, GetGo, Gigaget, Download Accelerator Plus/Premium (DAP) etc. . .Get either Orbit or Free download Manager. . .both are very good IMO.

Double N:

The best thing to do is to perform an uninstall then go to the Registry and delete all the keys in there. First type 'Run' the 'Regedit". Then go to HK Local Machine,then SOFTWARE,then Internet download Manager. Delete the whole folder.Re-install the software afresh and boot into safe mode to run the patch and you are good to go.

webgenius, nope, it didn't work but I'm using orbit and free download manager for now, they are as good as IDM.
