There's a pattern now apparent in Bokoharam methods -although our military don't seem to have cottoned on. Whenever there is a lull period in Boko bombings, it appears that it is not because the military is on top of the situation, but because Boko are planning something major. Right now there is another lull period, which means Boko are planning something major, possibly for either Christmas or New Year's day or both. The military has not divulged what they did to the retreating 500 terrorists that attacked the air-force base, so we don't know how decimated Bokoharam is. I mean someone most have seen shocked 500 fleeing terrorists ....anyway, what do you suggests, how do Nigerians protect themselves this Christmas and New Year ? How should the army plan for such a contingency.....

- Avoid crowded places: terrorists will always try to make a bold statement with a high casualty count.

- Lookout for unusually positioned bags, cars, objects, et cetera.

- Watchout for strange characters.

- Be open-minded: expect anything.

- Pray.

The NA can't do jacksh!t without intelligence; they can only act in a reactionary capacity. Aggressive intelligence gathering is key to foiling any attacks. But where's the technology? Post-generational warfare is freaking expensive. The FG needs to spend.
