Nigerian Medical Association has directed its members to embark on nationwide strike on Wednesday,18th December 2013.
Rising from a meeting held in Minna,Niger state,the strike termed warning strike is for duration of five(5) days.
The total strike wil be recommenced on Monday,6th January,2014 if federal government fails to meet their demands.
With this development,it means all Doctors in government hospitals(local,state,federal) will withdraw their services as directed by the national body.

Federal govt shd do everything possible to avert this imminent strike.
This festive period is characterized with cases of traffic accidents and watching Doctors to embark on this strike without stopping them wil be dangerous.
The masses wil definitely bear the brunt.

let's all pray and plead with the federal government to accede to the request of these people. A good government should be concerned first about the welfare of its citizens. I am sure this is about the survival of the Doctors,but the federal government should not sacrifice the lives of the average Nigerians before agreeing to their demands.
