All these e-folks and people on the street talking about Jonathan being clueless, naive, corrupt & has to be impeached. It's very easy for desperate and short-sighted people not to think beyond the present. All these DESPERATE moves by the political elites will do nobody or any region NO GOOD. One thing is certain in Nigeria of today, some regions think JOnathan is incompetent and he must not be re-elected. To some region, he's a Southerner, that robbed them of their " Turn" to rule NIgeria. One thing is sure, to some other regions, Gej, is doing good and he must stay and finish his two terms. When these conflicting interest clashed, what do you think I'd going to happen? Bloody conflict. Selfish and short-sighted politicians is going to send millions of GULLIBLE Nigerian youths to their early graves because of their own SELFISH INTEREST and cos of one man. If Jonathan must be impeached, all the members of the National Assembly has to be sacked by Nigerians, cos they're all ROGUES. Some people want the military to take over rite? how about the incumbent chief of army staff taking over the govt? They wouldn't want that, the military head of state should come from their religion and tribe. Take it or live it, Nigeria was created for selfish reasons by the British and the selfishness of the few nigerian rogues will disembark this faulty amalgamation |

That President Obasanjo could not be impeached does not mean GEJ cannot be impeached! OBJ brought a super level of top game to his presidency and Nigeria that retardeen GEJ can not find even in his dreams! If you or him are banking on Ihejirika, then you have no idea of what happened pre-civil war when the top military leadership were told directly by NCOs they would not carry out even a single order until they produced their commanders who had been killed. Ironsi was given the same treatment afterwards. If GEJs life is greater and more important than all the thousands already killed and dying from poverty and hunger, then you folks need not complain - enjoy your pains! Subversion of the constitution will be termed high treason and will be dealt with the full might of the presidency, Jonathan has not committed any impeachable offence under the constitution. I dare Obasanjo and Tinubu to take the 18 page letter to the national assembly and push for impeachment of the president and the will will be taught the full meaning of treason 1 Like |

abu12: For the benefits of doubt any coup would take more than one month and the effects will be difficult to imagine as the nigerian army would loose 3/4 of their members, , thereare now more arms in private hands than in the hands of the military, let the north not fool themselves that nigerians are still as naive as they were in the 60s. Any coup will trigger an arm struggle that would take more than one month and the intervention of foreign powers to reach an amicable settlement unlike the massacre of 1966 where igbo officers were caught off guard and no back up from civilians with a one directional slaughter going on unhindered for days until the northern soldiers had their fill.
