10. Emile Heskey Sometimes considered the God of football, more often considered the worst striker to ever put on the England shirt. Heskey plays the nice guy but is really pretty tough. He is 6'2, and weighs 88kg and was once described as "a blunt instrument with which to bludgeon defences". This list wouldn't be complete without the inclusion of Emile William Ivanhoe Heskey. 9. Jens Lehmann Fussball The ex-Arsenal goalkeeper makes the list because he is seriously crazy. Picking fights, playing like an out field player and even going to the toilet during a match. Lehmann was incredibly unpredictable, once trying to Kung Fu kick Carlos Puyol in the head even though the ball was going out! 8. Sandro The Spurs faithful like to call him BEAST, because of his immense strength and fantastic tackling abilities. However, Sandro is also very skilled at Martial Arts, showing off his talent in the Spurs dressing room. He packs quite a punch. 7. Roy Keane Whether it be in his playing days or bullying Gareth Southgate as a pundit, Roy Keane doesn't let anyone mess him around. For 12 years he dominated the middle of the park for United, famously having a spiff with Patrick Vieira because he picked on Gary Neville. See, he can be a nice guy. 6. Paolo Di Canio The only manager to make the list, the feisty Italian is known for his strange managerial techniques and strict handling of his players. His back is covered with images of Mussolini and fascist symbols and he has recently outlined the importance of Samurai culture in his life, cementing him as the craziest manager in England. Being so unpredictable and with such a short fuse, I doubt many would come off better after coming up against Paolo. 5. Pepe Some people are convinced he should be a WWE wrestler instead of a footballer, constantly fighting players from the other team, and sometimes even his own team-mates! In 2009, the Portuguese international conceded a penalty when he pushed an attacker to the ground and kicked him twice. He then struck another player in the face and had to be escorted off the pitch by team mate Iker Casillas after being shown a red card. 4. Joey Barton Thug? Thinker? Both? Joey Barton is known for his controversies on and off the pitch, often expressing his views on the social networking site Twitter. He was described as the dirtiest player in the Premier League, picking up 39 yellow cards and three red cards in his stint at Manchester City. Not only is he a renowned tough guy, he is good friends with boxer Ricky Hatton, and sometimes trains with him! Wouldn't fancy my chances against them two. 3. Vinnie Jones The lead member of the 'Crazy Gang' has always been known for being a hard nut, made even more obvious by an acting career centred around his tough personality, stemming from him presenting 'Soccer's Hard Men'. Off the pitch, he got convicted for hitting a passenger on a plane and threatening to murder the cabin crew. Guess he's not a keen flyer.... 2. Adebayo Akinfenwa Currently plying his trade at Gillingham FC, Akinfenwa isn't the greatest footballer ever. However, he is the strongest, becoming famous for being outrageously bulky and muscular. Akinfenwa is 16 stone, and can easily bench press 175kg, almost double his weight! To put that into context, he could pick up Juan Mata, Eden Hazard and Oscar at the same time! 1. Zlatan Ibrahimovic Zlatan makes number one for a number of reasons. He is a giant at 6 foot 5, as well as being supremely strong. There have been many cases where Ibrahimovic has kicked his own team-mates, threatening to break both of Van Der Vaart's legs. At AC Milan he head butted a team-mate in training and has recently been banned for stamping on a defender's head. He is a black belt in Taekwondo, and owns an island in Sweden in which he hunts wild boar on horse back. I certainly wouldn't get on the wrong side of him. http://www.ftbpro.com/posts/alex.gilbert/510572/10-footballers-you-wouldn-t-want-to-fight |

No Gattuso on that list? Then ur list is as good as thrash. The guy was on the pitch against tottenham in the champions league some years back, and evrybody including the Ref was running away from him.He picked up a secong yellow card that day after slapping Tottenham's assistant manager. The guy bad gan. |

No Genero Gattuso? Most of the players mentioned on your list dreaded him during his playing days. Gattuso should be no1 I swear! |

aventura: The author seem to have omitted the fact that the team-mate he headbutted, Oguchi Onyewu, broke his rib for that mistake of attacking the wrong guy. 1 Like |
