the wrship of GOD is seen as a condescendg grovellg thing by atheists and agnostics etc and so the label the christian God as an ego maniac.
For religious folks its more like dry mechanical motion . No soul in it.
But while true tht unbelievers dnt overtly wrship God , they do covertly. Y because God evokes wrship.
An evocation that is as irreligious as a stutter or a knee jerk.
But they dnt know that they wrship.
If u had an audience with a brilliant scientists and vacationed with a lavish billionaire and shared the thoughts of a renowned stateman and strategised with a brilliant chess champ or general. You'd come away very impressed. Possibly over impressed.
You'd literally wrship.
You'd see how their thoughts are light years above yours and so unconventional tht very few see it yes so elegant in their simplicity.
You'd feel like you've not even strted.
From d billionaire u'd see how he makes money literally out of thin air. How u too cud live in d same house in d same poverty stricken neighbourhood and in time he'd zip past u in income.
For d scientists, you'd marvel at his discoveries. And when he list and shows you his awards you'd want to have his autograph, a pix with him etc.
This is adoration,its worship and its not fake ur so impressed you express it. You treasure it.
So how much more if u met the person who created - put together,fashioned- every part visible and invisible in the impressive ppl u met? Ur jaw drop from impression.
But jaws are still dropping even though ppl dont see God. Jaws drop wen these ppl consider the wrks of God, though they dont ascribe it to Him,
Doctors marvel about the wonders of the human body, many live and die studying just a subset of man, it took extra powerful computers with tonnes of storage to document the human genetic code.
Who made this.
So many scientific and technological inventions are inspired from creation so called nature and scientist are looking more and more to "nature" for more inspiration because so many of what man is battling with are trivially solved in creation. E.g in computers so softwares are being designed to solve problems the way the human brain works. Traditional approaches wont cut it.
Mathematicians obsess over the beauty of an idea . They explore abstractions for years some spend all their lives wandering in the neighbourhood of a notion.
They marvel about its properties . Physicist openly admit that their phenomena in nature tht they cannot formally completely describe. In a nutshell,they marvel at somethg God created in an instant and entire generations still cant think it out! Generations of geniuses!
It took centuries 4 the mathematical framework of "the calculus" to b finally put together without which we wudnt even b havg a modern age yet the concept had been in existence and in creation since the beginning. It was just too rich to b easily understood.
So when an encounter with the Person behind all this marvels is had. A being who creates Planets - with nothing but a spoken word.
Who fixed the sun in space and it has never failed to give light for even a microsecond , contrast tht with Nepa (phcn), who created the phenomena called light and gravity affixg to them exact mathematical properties.
And who has enough intellectual marvels to engage the most curios intellectual. Who imagined substances like Gold and diamonds tht humans wud like them- just the color and d bling.
