damoskiy: guy stop decieving dem.hw person go dey get 40- 60 nd u want to do medical course.it shows u didn't study well.be no get ani bad thing for mind ooooo...Cut off point is based on the general performance of candidates aspiring to be admitted. You can not use last year's point to judge this year's own. This year's score is generally low. Let's just try to encourage them. In 2010, when I got admission, my neighbour also got in dentistry with 53% though she's from Lagos state while I was having 66% so anytin can happpen. I saw your mention. a4hafoe:honestly it varies,it depends on number of candidate assigned to each catchment... So they choice the highest scored candidate frm d@ catchment until dey get d exact no. I.e if dey assign 10 candidate to ogun,they choice the first ten candidate that met d catchment cut off bt nt merit cut off. |

a4hafoe:each catchment as quota assigned to dem. So dey give the highest score people from d catchment. I.e if lagos as 10 as d catchment quota,dey will give the slot to d first ten people frm lagos,d@ pass d catchment cut off ,or met it,bt d@ didnt met d merit cut off. |

To all students that failed Post UTME, this is to admonish you and let you know that all hope is not lost yet, you can still make your way into 200 level in the university next year through the IJMB A'level program. Its a 9month program that takes you into 200 level upon completion. The registration for the program is still on but would be closing soon. Is there no economics aspirant here at all? Btw, pls guys go and pray and if there is any other option just pls don't leave it out. Let me not lie to you, what am seeing here compared to last year isn't encouraging at all "the truth be told". You cannot judge from scores you see here on nairaland cos there are many guest that will not even post anything, yet you will see them on screening day and they will cal you by ur name. 55;60; 54 ans so on. Don't be surprise to see those going for ur course scoring 80; 70 even 90. Once again, don't just sit down and look!!! Pray, seek for info!!/help. |
