According to a popular man of God "celebrating chrismas is idolatory". Is that going well?

Is this some new revelation or something?I grew up listening to Kumuyi and we celebrated christmas in my house.Although,I noticed some subtle diplomatic undertones condemning christmas.A lot of deeper life people celebrate christmas including my mum.Maybe they'll stop now.Why do people give men such control over their lives? Will get the full gist from mum when she gets back from camp.

If christmas is idolatry. Then what of going to church on sunday? Isn't it idolatry?

The Fact: Jesus wasn't born on the 25th of December.

The Truth: 25th of December is another day of the calendar and humans can assign anything to it.. So if I as a human have decided to celebrate CHrist (emphasis) that day then I don't think it is idolatry...
