It's.zoo annoying when your driving and going straight and all of a.sudden one re tard jinks into your lane without signaling or warning, I mean what the help are your ttafficators for?

Just today a driver wanted to take the next turn and the idol t was on the last lane, after the green light he just turned to the left forcing me that was just going straight to the left, he kept on pushing till I had to stop and ask him if he was drunk or mad?

The other day I wad in traffic going just straight still, this mini van just beside me just ran into me for no bloody reason.

Another is not signalling on the high way, they just switch lanes whenever they feel, if they have enough space to do so out not, I have to always keep my foot on the brakes and accelerate when I'm sure no mad man will jump from no whrre.

Another is Not signalling when on a minor road, its basic driving knowledge, when you wanna turn or switch lanes fc uking signal! angry .

Just today i was gonna make a Uturn and this mad man just quickly sped into te space i was gonna turn into after i was jist about to straighten out and then he was even swearing for me for being too slow about making a Uturn! I was soo pissed, my friend had ro calm me down.

Most drivers needs to be flogged and sense beaten into them like bloody children that they are. WTF!!!!!

so many people will ignore this thread cos they are guilty. The truth is Nigerian roads are small and road users have no idea of how to use the roads. Also, many people don't put their mind into driving while driving and they assume they are the only ones on the road or that the other person they are using the road with knows what they are thinking and intend do. Those who made the car put certain facilities in place to avoid accidents as much as possible, still Nigerians ignore and don't use it. I think the book Highway Code for Nigeria should be made available in the market and well circulated.

Its basic tings you are taught when your learning to drive, signal(trafficate) wherever you wanna turn into. its not like i went to a driving school but mu uncle made sure i used my trafficator cause thats why its there.

Most times when you signal to switch lanes the driver behind you suddenly has this 'raging-bull' moment like he doesn't want you in front of him. Maybe that's why those drivers just switch lanes without signalling, the amber light could enrage the other driver grin

N/B: occurs more in heavy traffic

Haha! I like this thread. As for me I'm tired of even shouting, yelling or cursing out at these ignorant drivers. I've resolved to employing extra care (feet on brake pedal every second) and making sure I extract every kobo for repairs from any idiot that (God-forbid) rams into me. 90% of Lagos drivers do not know how to drive! Just yesterday while driving on 3MB, I decided to switch lanes to the right. After signalling to the driver in the adjacent lane with my trafficator and making a move for it, one idiot with no warning whatsoever from God knows where rushed into the space, almost even hitting me while at it. I looked at the guy when I was parallel with him on traffic and just as I was about to curse out at him, I realised the guy was an old man, probably in his late 50s to early 60s. I just became weak and went my way. Truth is while driving on Lagos roads, you have to drive for both yourself and other drivers too. That's sometimes the best precaution.
