according to a reliable source....there is a basic salary which is very good according to fed govt job salary standards. But u also get random 'mouth-watering' payments which is supposed to keep u from taking bribes and passing classified information. There is a reason d budget of d DSS is not made public.

Please the guys who collects our application at the gate to my best of knowledge seems not to know the process. They just collect without checking if your application is complete or not.

Submitted this morning in Ilorin but the guy didn't collect my passports O, E say it's not needed. Same with the oda guy that submitted with me.

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! these wicked people wan discourage me say nah 35k to 45k plus allowances.

...in case u dont know, deadline is on the 9th, every other things will finish before the first week of september.hope u guys are preparing for the next phase, screening test and interviews.

I just submitted my application in lagos. They even advised some not to rush to avoid mistake as there is still enough time but wasn‘t specific about closing date. He said “its not closing ds week, so why d rush?“

U sef do d maths na,a police constable receives more than 35 45k with his waec result,why wud they degrade a bsc holder wich such pay? Bottom line is security peeps in naija now receive very good pay(dats if ogas at d top don't cut their own sha),not to talk more of a security outfit whose annual budget is kept under wraps...infact every secret service gatta pay well to avoid moles..

I just submitted in Owerri the Imo state capital command. They asked me to remove the application from the envelop and staple all my documents with my passport in front.

It's more appropriate to enclose ur application letter and credentials on a medium(A4) size brown envelop when submitting application for any job.

How did it go, sent a friend 2 submit for me. He said he couldn't that one has 2 be der himself. How true is this...
