NewIdeas: No I do NOT live in Equatorial Guinea, thank God! While oil discoveries have recently made it the richest subsaharan African country per capita, more than half the population live on under 2 US dollars a day! Its Human development Index rating is only .551 and most people continue to live in abject poverty, while the ruling class live like billionaires from monies corruptly acquired through state contracts.
