*The ritual have raised a lot of questions in people's mind what's your reaction

*is it embarrasing to tell some one all the thing you are ashamed of?

*Some catholic churches encourage face to face confession is it write or wrong..

*After your sin
*You go into a small room in thhe church
* The priest ask the person the last time he/she had made confession last.
*He may then read one or two bits of the bible,which underline that God will forgive those who are truly sorry.

*Then,the penitent-The person's making confession-will confess his or her sin

*Then the priest will ask the penitent to do something to show he is sorry.it is called an act of penance.
It might be a prayer or a service to a neighbour.

*the penitent will perform an act of sorrow to prove he/she will not sin again.

*then the priest announce God forgiveness in words like these

'May God give you pardon and peace, and I 'absolve(acquit/free/let you go) from your sin in the name of the father and of the son and of the holyspirit

Of all Catholic doctrines... I think that's the one I am most impressed with
