Sir, it depends on when you logged out. Trailing stop works on client server, not on broker server. It stops working the moment you break your internet connection. The only way that could have been broker shenanigans is if you watched ur trailing stop up to break even before you logged out. If you are a fan of trailing stop, try using a vps (virtual private server)

we saw it bro, but due to the highly risk of gold move we could not join the train as at that time. i personally saw gold sell as too risky then sinc the price stayed above 1217

If it had broken the triangle to the downside then the sell would have been VALID,which was what I was waiting for.
But it didn't..............

As for Gold,the triangle has been broken,so we sell and take our profits @ the price projection level
Once it breaks the Inside Bar on the daily...................you can use your imagination

I sold ej twice. first at 142.90 and another at 143.10. I left the two trades to run to the day's pivot at 142.31.

presently, there's a style I use in protecting my trades. what I do is that as soon as my trade is in positive let's say about 20 - 25 pips, I protect about 10pips by using stop loss and allow the trade to run. only two things can happen; it hits my target at take profit or hits my stop loss at +10. either way, I've not lost. this is good psychologically

ayox2003: Fundamentally, USDJPY looks ripe for a sell. At a 3 year high and the odds are against it.

Technically, it couldnt completely break (just a fake-out)) the 161.8 fib when drawn from the retracement 101.46 to 95.78.

Surely, I know a lot of people follow this style of trading but what is worthy of note here is that one has to wait probably for like 2 hour candles to form in the direction of your trade before protecting with a stop loss because of the volatility of the markets. When the retracement does not get close to where you want to place your stop loss in the previous bar, then you are good to go. Though I must state here that you must be very observant (and sometimes lucky) to catch those moves
