crazymommy: when am trading on eur/usd i perform intraday trading but when am trading on other pairs like ej,gj,eg,ea,uj and so on i do swing trading and my take profit is always aimed at 600 pips and stop loss 200 pips,i use the weekly and daily chart,i use adx and price action and they work at least 85 percent of the time.

This reminds me of my first live experience in forex then with marketiva in 2008.I funded my account with $100.I erroneously assumed forex to be stock market and instead of selling UJ which was the trend.Guys I bought it o.It kept falling,I kept buying lower until I got a margin call.I could have funded more into the account but I was broke then.

Morale of lesson:The trend is your friend.

Similar experience since Monday. I learnt my lesson just today, though the harder way. The trend superceed your expectations.

About an hour ago I just placed a sell order on both Natural Gas and Oil and I have made over 20pips on each. However my lot size were terribly cut short because of low capital. And am still holding on NG sell till 4.000
