This doctrine is incompatible with the infinite love of God. God is not a judge but a friend and a lover of humanity. God seeks not to condemn but only to embrace. Like the fable of Adam and Eve, we see hell as a literary device. Hell is merely a metaphor for the isolated soul, which like all souls ultimately will be united in love with God.”
In a shocking speech that is reverberating across the world, Pope Francis declared that:
“All religions are true, because they are true in the hearts of all those who believe in them. What other kind of truth is there? In the past, the church has been harsh on those it deemed morally wrong or sinful. Today, we no longer judge. Like a loving father, we never condemn our children. Our church is big enough for heterosexuals and homosexuals, for the pro-life and the pro-choice! For conservatives and liberals, even communists are welcome and have joined us. We all love and worship the same God.”

Leave him alone he will soon get another shocker from his church that will make him and others like him unable to show their face on nairaland again. This is not a bluffing it is guaranteed. I so much feel for them sa, they are trying to defend their trust in false hope of salvation. They are one of millions who are victims of honest wrongs.

Bitterness, hate & the desire to see the mighty fall never brought them down. It only shows why you remain so so small, Waldigit. You may not like the Catholic church, but attribute to her only her faults & whenever you have wrongly accused her, have the humility to admit it. I am done with you on this. ..in any case let us all pray that the devil himself do not use the church through our spiritual leaders..but remember sha! that in any rumour there may be some element of truth..it doesn't matter what the Catholic believe in, they can never change the word of God through mere statement..because DOGMATISM and the WORD of GOD are not the same..! the Pope may not have said anything but the church in general is tending towards a fearful directions..it is well..!
