The Japanese tech giant Sony, has made smartphones even smarter with a strange accessory that turns smartphones into full-fledged digital camera. Sony’s latest detachable Cyber-shot QX10 and shot DSC-QX100 can be attached to Android smartphones and iPhones for unfair camera advantage. The detachable camera lenses from Sony give smartphones users a dedicated lens with optical zoom and image sensor capabilities.

What’s in these dedicated camera lenses?

Sony Cyber-shot QX100
This is a beastly digital camera with an impressive 20.2 MP, R CMOS sensor, and a Carl Zeiss f/1.8 lens with 3.6x optical zoom. It comes with image stabilization, recording 1080p at 30 frames per second. There are also dedicated keys carefully crafted for zooming and shutter release.

Sony Cyber-shot QX10
This is a little bit downgraded to the Cyber-shot QX100. It is an 18 megapixel camera, with Exmor R CMOS sensor, Sony G Lens, and 10x optical zoom. Just like the Cyber-shot QX100, it also has dedicated keys for shutter release and zooming. It also has image stabilization capacity and can record a video in 1080p at 30fps.



Both the Cyber-shot QX100 and Cyber-shot QX10 can be attached to your smartphones or detached and remotely controlled via Wi-Fi and NFC connectivity. Media is saved on both the camera and the device.
