The match started @ 11pm(nig time) on 31st July, 1996.At about 12am 1st August 1996 we were still 3-1 down(carry over from 1st half). At abt 12:45am on 1st August it was 3-3. At abt 1:00am 1st August 1996 Kanu scored the winner!
I will never forget that day night. I just completed my WAEC exams some few weeks earlier. I jumped from a one-storey building to join my pals in celebration when we could nt easily locate the key to the gate to our stair case.
Oh happy day.
