I am writing a thesis on INTRUSION DETECTION SYSTEMS in computer networks. in the course of d research ,I discovered that a software called SNORT is usually used for such operation. I have downloaded the snort and installed but av been unable to use it. I av also gone tru d manual but I couldn't use it. I am sure of getting help from members of this forum. I shall be grateful for ur urgent assistance as I am hitting my deadline soon. thanks. |
