In response to this topic, "Can a Christian work at a brewery" https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-161381.0.html, I I am inclined to ask this question as well, "Can a Christian work for a Tobacco (Cigarette) company"?

In my opinion, I think a Christian should not work for a cigarette manufacturing company. We must stay clear of controversial and questionable issues like this. The offers are usually very juicy and tempting. But, the question is Does the product make the consumers' lives better or worse? Would you be proud to tell your shepherd and the flock where you work? Will you be proud to tell the Master where you work?

It is known, obvious, apparent, clear, that Cigarettes destroy lives but a decision like this should not be made based on religion but on moral standards, principles, and ethics.

I don't see what it has to do with religion.
