They will say "We will make sure we correct our mistakes and prepare to win 30 gold medals at the next Olympic games” That is the same old story the politicians running sports in Nigeria are use to saying, but this time around Nigerians will surely expect the best from our administrators, because the 2012 Olympic games preparation will actually commence at the opening ceremony in London (mark my words) In a country where sports is at the mercy of corrupt politicians, only expect the worst. Yar Adua made a mistake,he forgot to take Maurice Iwu and his magicians to the games, maybe we would have been celebrating a landslide of 500 gold medals today (more than the overall total of available medals) .My only word is for those clowns in N.F.A to without delay appoint Siasia as the next Super Eagles coach or mark my words “we will not be in South Africa”. A word is enough for the wise.

It was nothing but wishful thinking, apparently.
