Its beginning to appear so my brother. My friend wants to exhaust all credible means over the next 6mths after which he may fast forward the matter if no good result. He wants these dogs really crazy.

Would love to know whatever happened to those dogs. . .

I know you can make a dog more aggressive by

-feeding it once a day (dont know if this works with alsatians)
-keeping them away and isolated during the day, let them loose at night (I mean isolation, no human traffic near their cage)

If do not want the dog to be aggressive towards anybody in your household, have your household feed the dogs. They should also play with the dogs, pet and discipline them.

^^ We have an Alsatian, feeding him once a day doesn't make him more aggressive. It's no use feeding a non-working dog more than once a day.

Locking up or isolating a dog doesn't help either, that same dog may turn on you and your family.

What does work is training and discipline. Alsatians are work dogs and easy to train; I trained our dog to sit in a matter of hours. I've also taught him not to run to strangers in a friendly way - while I know he's investigating and checking out the visitor, I'm teaching him to be aloof. At night he is far less friendly than during the day, especially if one of us isn't escorting the visitor.
