This is group is fantastic. But the problem is that we are not talking poetry with poetry. Please let us try as much as possible to speak in poetic tone. Thanks. Aderemi Adegbite |

Hallucination I don't know who he was So I'm scared of his shadow Along the lengthy lightless street I screamed when he came closer But he stood still behind my shadow. I saw traces of muscular movement Towards the lonely path I tread, At a point I heard massive sound In batches of muggy muscular troops Trodden towards my lonely path All in trance of shattered shadows, I mellow down on my roaring race And suddenly stood still on a spot Then I felt a fierce grip Of the faceless shadow firmly On my fragile shoulder's hill Intermittently, breathless slowly I turned To view the huge aghast figure Though once even prior death But in realization I met Not fierce figure neither any mug Nor am I on any lightless street, Though my rum mind set Amidst my comic and art library. Very nice! To me it seems like a Maya Angelou type of poem! |
