Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by 9ja4eva: 6:59pm On Aug 30, 2007
United will face AS Roma, Sporting Lisbon and Dynamo Kiev in this season's Champions League group stage, with the Reds kicking off their pursuit of the trophy on either Tuesday 18 September or Wednesday 19 September.
Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by geesoft(m): 8:00pm On Aug 30, 2007

We dey always conquer
Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Jackal(m): 9:09am On Aug 31, 2007
@ 9ja4eva,

Our group is the toughest . . . . .Make no bones about it.

That Dynamo Kiev is a very tricky place to go to especially this winter.
I hope SAHA's ballz wont freeze up . . . . . . . . . . .
There was a season Arsenal went there and Kanu missed a glorious chance . . . . .When Wenger was asked what he felt about Kanu's miss, he said i dont blame him. . . . The temperature was sub-zero.

Roma will also be tricky. WE cant beat em 7-1 ever again but it gives us the edge that we are more superior than em.
Totti and his goons will be seeking vengeance and that will be tough.
The only positive here is if all United players remain fit . . . . .we are more than capable of beating the Italians.
I hate Italian jobs . . . . .They can be very very sneaky.
Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by CrazyMan(m): 1:41pm On Aug 31, 2007
Even though we walk through the valley of the shadow of darkness we shall fear no evil. Now I say even though we walk through the camp of enemies, we shall know no defeat.

Our group is tough but I see that as a challenge. Roma isn’t a team we should be scared of. We gave them 7-1 last season so we can definitely do better this season.

Everyone can also see that we are gradually picking up. So I know that by the time the Championship begins, we would have all our opponents under our control.

One united cool
Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Jackal(m): 1:56pm On Aug 31, 2007
@ Crazykid,

I love ur optimism, son.
The only snag is going to Rome again after seeing what happened to United fans the last time.
UEFA must be an ass for potting us together but i hope all parties have learnt their lessons.
Dynamo Kiev remains ma only worry . . . . .the weather will affect Ferguson himself . . .His chewing gum will freeze.
Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by CrazyMan(m): 2:09pm On Aug 31, 2007
@Jackal

You right playing in Dynamo Kiev is like playing in Pluto. That place is almost like a mortuary. I hope we would be able to cope with the weather. Those Ukrainians are terrible people. They won’t mind fixing that match at the heat of the snow.
Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Jackal(m): 2:12pm On Aug 31, 2007
@ Crazykid,

That is what they do.
Play on the coldest part of the city in Winter.
Do u know they move venues unlike here where we all know Man Utd must play at OT and Arsenal at Emirates.
Can Saha and Nani play on frozen pitch?
Dynamo Kiev away is my greatest worry . . . . . I wish we cld play em first and get it done with.
If we play em in December, DEATH BECOMES SAHA and TEVEZ.
Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by 9ja4eva: 2:25pm On Aug 31, 2007
So we no sign anybody?

Hopefullly Saha would remain fit forever and Tevez starts notching

Dynamo is our toughest game and i know we will scale through

Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by CrazyMan(m): 5:05pm On Aug 31, 2007
I knew you were just pulling my legs.

The transfer window is closed for this season so there’s no way any club management can sign in a new player. And also Ferguson has made it clear that Dimitri Berbatovisn’t joining United. http://sport.independent.co.uk/football/premiership/article2914327.ece
Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by debosky(m): 5:37pm On Aug 31, 2007
technically there still is room for last minute signings, the window closes at 12 midnight wink
Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by CrazyMan(m): 6:17pm On Aug 31, 2007
That's about 6 hours from now. I don't think it's enough to sign a player wink
