Apart from the obnoxious traffic situation that can cause premature death! Lagos ain that bad, it's not as expensive as people paint it as(except you reside in high brow areas, like some areas in lekki and the dreaded banana island). It's the commercial hub of the country hence opportunities are bountiful and if one gets a well paying job, lagos is one of best places to live.

Lol

Bro, Lagos is expensive. You can live as an average citizen in some places like Gwagwalada n d rest in Abuja. Only PH dey expensive. Other places in Rivers just dey. Lagos case is different. House rent even at Ikorodu na die.

How much do u think is their average self contain?
Re: NYSC 2014 Batch C House by Nobody: 10:31am On Oct 15, 2014
Printing of Call up letters by those who paid in 13days.

Collection of Call up letters for those who didnt pay in 14days(2 weeks)

Batch C 2014 Orientation Camps open in 20days.

PS: Anyone that hasnt received his/her call up number should wait till 20th/21st before giving up. The new system is full of flaws. Just wait till then even if you register before October 3rd. God help us all. Good morning.

Thanks dear....but seriously am discouraged already

Don't be! Lagos is over populated and this trend is synonymous with urban/industrialised cities with sub par road network. Though they have started construction of a railway system that would help tackle this problem. For the main time, id advise you to understand lagos traffic situations in order to make you easily navigate through its tedious traffic ie not steppn out during rush hours (weekdays- 7:30am - 9:30am, 3:45pm - 8:30pm, weekend - most workers rest during weekends, so there's little or no traffic! Sunday morning could be nasty cos of church thou andd finally using ur own gut, instinct, discretion to decide on the bridge to ply especially if you r commuting between the island and mainland)

Lagos? Nothing less than 150k in areas like Ikorodu and some places on the mainland. If your thinking Island, be ready to spend as high as 300k on a room self-contained. Lagos is worth it if you have a good offer but its not if there is no offer on 'your table'.

Even on the mainland. U can get as much as 900k self contain and as low as 60k self contain. Depends on the area!
