Good morning guys. If I'm right, it's more than 24hours since this thread has been created and I believe the intent has been made known and the awareness created. I'm still expecting other members here though. While we await the influx of others I'd like to go down to the business of the week. Yea! It's for the week so that we may have virtually all hands on deck. An insightful look into the raison d'être of this thread deems it necessary that we all come together for the success of this effort in place. We need all members to play their roles in this as we embark on the most fruitful and life enhancing of all efforts which is to impact positively in the life of others. To achieve this, the following steps are to be collectively taken: (1) posting of one's course and its faculty e.g Papindinho, Course/faculty: Yoruba language/arts and humanities (2) collation of data provided in (1) based on faculties with departments well outlined (3) nomination and election of faculty cordinators (4) nomination and election of central cordinators (if there would be any) (5) outlining of off-line arrangements NB: the composition of (3) and (4) will be deliberated upon even though we are all cordinators. Thus, the composition of central cordinators shouldn't exceed two and its faculty units shouldn't exceed three per faculty. Further amendment of steps may be done based on the conscensus reached. It should also be noted that the success of this lies in all our actions and I believe this gathering can move a mountain through cooperation and network of good relations. Thank you all. I am not in any way close to anyone that possess the ability of bossing you let alone of being the topmost oga. In addition to your point sir, I think nairaland should/must be the best avenue to anchor such programme. The likes of Whatsapp, BBM and 2go may not fulfil the requirement for this occasion. What am I trying to say? 1) If at all this gathering turns to be successful, the number of message that will pop in a day may be up to 100. I hope you know the implication, draining of battery and constant beeping for those suggesting whatsapp. 2) Nairaland as a community is open to all. You do not need any special knowledge to log in, rather the likes of whatsapp and Bbm may be a thick bone in the neck of many, because it's not all internet enable phone(s) that can be easily connected to some special messenger like whatsapp. Baba, how world cup na? 1 Like |
